We understand that losing teeth can be incredibly stressful and even scary. We make it our mission to understand your wishes and concerns and based on this, together we plan a comprehensive clinical assessment, and recommend the most appropriate treatment.
Dental implants can be used to support individual teeth, several teeth in the form of a dental bridge or all of your teeth. Dental implants can also be used to stabilise dentures.
Dental implants give you the freedom to eat, laugh and talk with confidence, knowing that your new teeth are securely held in place. With traditional crown and bridge procedures, healthy adjoining teeth may need to be ground down. With dental implants this can normally be avoided.
If you have a single missing tooth, a single implant is the best solution for you.
The appearance of teeth is important for many of us and dental implants have become the first choice for many patients who are missing a tooth, especially from their smile!
A single titanium implant is placed into the bone and once healed, a custom made cosmetic crown is made to fit onto the implant to match the surrounding teeth.
The dental implant is natural looking and will function and feel just like your own tooth.
Implant treatment is usually performed under local anaesthetic.
If you have lost several teeth, there are typically two solutions available to you: separate crowns on dental implants or a bridge attached to two or more dental implants.

Our implant surgeon, under local anaesthetic will place the titanium screw in the planned location of the missing tooth. This procedure takes between one and two hours and is relatively painless due to the local anaesthetic. You may experience a small amount of discomfort following the placement of the implant but this will subside and healing will occur relatively quickly.
05
Once your implant integrates with the bone, we are able to restore the tooth with a crown. The crown will be individually designed and manufactured to fit your Implant. Once in place, they will look, feel and function as a natural tooth.
